Disquisitions on various and sundry topics; rantings into the ether. A very few of the photos in this section are mine, otherwise they are (hopefully) attributed.

Contacts sheets are raw, unedited work. I'm using the web as a virtual lightbox. Finished work can be found either in the my weblog, craniata.net/news, or in the craniata.net/photos/essays sections.

I should also note that I began taking photos in earnest again around 2003, and I've gotten much better. The earlier photos are so, so very bad. Hopefully I'm getting better. One step at a time, one small step at a time.
